If I enter info from my 1099-R as provided to me, why can't I continue to review and file without a percentage in box 9a? My situation mirrors last year. No problem then.

The TT review process wants me to enter a % from box 9a but none is provided. How do I move past this in the review process?

Box 9a of Form 1099-R, percent of total distribution, is generally used when a 1099-R distribution is split between more than one person. If that does not apply and

if that box was empty on your Form 1099-R, you should leave it blank. Try clicking in the box and hitting the backspace/delete buttons to make sure the box is really empty.

You can also try deleting and reentering your Form 1099-R if that does not help.
