I withdrew Life Insurance and entered data on 1099-R. I mistakenly entered wrong state (West Virginia) in Box 15. How do I delete West Virginia?

Follow these steps:

1. Return to the federal income section
2. Locate the 1099-R
3. Edit
4. Delete everything in the state boxes area since WA has no state tax

You can file your federal with no issues.
