I've received a 1099- G in the mail and Turbo Tax is asking for "total of all your payments and withholding", but I dont see a corresponding amount, what do I enter?

Based on my research, it says I need to look through last years 1040 and find the amount of payment and withholding but not sure which line to look for? I did Itemize and according to the 1040, I did use State/Local income tax paid.

You need to look on your state tax return and enter the state and local tax paid in. That will be the total of tax withheld and any additional estimated tax you may have paid toward your previous year state tax filing.

Thanks, is that the Schedule A of the 1040- State and Local Taxes- lines 5a-5c? Want to make sure I’m looking in the right place for the amount to enter.

The amount in line 5a may be the correct amount, assuming you didn't use the sales tax deduction in lieu of the income taxes. Don't include line 5b or 5c though, as those are not income taxes. It would be better to look on your state tax return, there should be a line for state tax withheld and estimated taxes paid in.
