Military Retirement Pay - "Qualified" or "Non-Qualified" Plan. Internet sites list it as Qualified; ya'll have "Military Retirement Plans" listed as Non-Qualified????

I've been drawing retired military pay for quite a while.

Military retired pay is from a"Non-qualified Plan". That means you did not make "deductible" (i.e. "pre-tax") contributions to the plan while working.

Really?  Those 20 hour days weren't contributions?   We were always told that even though we were paid in the dark, our efforts on ACDU would be rewarded with a pension, and that our pensions were deferred pay for services.
