I thought I was getting a 1099 on a new account, but it didn’t accrue interest so I no longer need to report. How can I uncheck the box so it doesn’t think I need this!

Add/Edit/Delete Form 1099-R (Distributions From Pensions, Annuities, Retirement or Profit-Sharing Plans, IRAs, Insurance Contracts, etc.):

1. Open your return (if not already open).
2. Enter "1099r" in the Search box.
3. Click on "jump to 1099r" link.  
4. Import or Enter you information manually.  You may also delete (garbage can) or edit (magnifying glass) your 1099-R on the Review your 1099-R info page.
