You should get your SSA-1099 in the mail no later than mid-February, as they get mailed out in January.
If you did not receive your SSA-1099 from the Social Security Administration, get it replaced online, by phone, or from your local Social Security office. Check out the official Social Security website.
Determining if Social Security income is
taxable depends on your total income.
If all your income is from Social Security, it's probably is not taxable (because only half of your social security may be taxes; which is usually below the minimum taxable income threshold).
If your total income, includes Social Security plus any other income, enter your total Social Security Income (from ALL Form SSA-1099 types) so TurboTax can calculate how much (if any) is taxable.
