I received money on my 1099R while living in Texas why does it show as Colorado Income?

I lived in Texas when I received the money from my father's death.  Why do I have to pay Colorado taxes when I was mot a resident of Colorado then?

You don't.  Be sure your are filing a part year resident return for CO.
