I normally receive one 1099 from social security disability but this year in 2025 I received two. Why?

Did you reach retirement age in 2025? If so, you changed from disability to retirement benefits. They would be reported on separate SSA-1099 forms.

If that's not the answer, call the Social Security Administration and ask them. 800-772-1213

When you enter your SSA-1099 forms in TurboTax, add them together and enter the totals for each box as if it were all on one form.
