To enter your Social Security benefits reported on form SSA-1099:

1. Log into your account and continue (if not already there).
2. Click on Federal Taxes.
3. Click on Wages and Income.
4. Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown).
5. Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security.
6. Click on down arrow to Show more (if it does not already show a list).
7. On Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099), click the Start or update button.
8. Answer the Step-by-step instructions.

To enter your pension and annuity payments (1099-R):

1. Log into your account and continue (if not already there).
2. Click on Federal Taxes.
3. Click on Wages and Income.
4. Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown).
5. Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security.
6. Click on down arrow to Show more (if it does not already show a list).
7. On IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), click the Start or update button.
