I'm prevented from e-file due to w2 box1 error ,and I have no w-2 's to correct the error as i am retired. I can't locate source of error. please help

I do not have any w2 forms because I didn't work, and I have a 1099-R to file.

Turbo Tax tells me "one of the w2s doesn"t have an amount in box 1 or the amount is less than  $1.

How do I correct this error?

If you are receiving a W-2 box 1 error, try these steps to remove the unwanted Form W-2:

1. Sign In or Open TurboTax.

2. Select "Take me to my return" (Online).

3. Select "Search" or "Help" icon.

4. Type "W-2" and select "Jump to W-2"

5. Select the "Delete (trashcan icon)" next to the W-2 you want to remove on the W-2 summary page.
