I have1042-S form (income code 19) which show the gross income has been exempted for federal tax. Should I fill in the information of this form in turbotax? How I do it?

My most income has been exempted for the federal tax due to the tax treaty. The box 1 in my W-2 form just showed the small part of my income that was not exempted for the federal tax. Should I fill in the information in both the W-2 and 1042-S forms? How can I fill in the information of form 1042-S in Turbotax. Thanks very much.

Since you have a W-2 form that has the correct income reported, you can just enter that in TurboTax, provided your tax withholdings, if any,  are correctly reported in box 2 of your W-2 form.

That sounds great. So I just need to enter the information in W-2 and don't need to enter the income shown in 1042-S. Thanks for the help.
