You may not be in the right place to enter your Social Security benefits income. Try going to Wages and Income > Retirement Plans and Social Security > Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099) and click Start or Update.

Is there a way to force Turbo Tax to accept a Payer's Federal Identification Number of 00-0000000? It is on my 1099-DIV and I can't get past the edit to efile.
