I had additional funds withheld towards my taxes. Is that additional amount automatically reflected in my year end totals for federal withheld?

Where did you have the tax withheld from? Was it from your pay, from unemployment benefits, from pension or Social Security income, from IRA withdrawals, or from some other type of income?

In general, the income that the tax was withheld from will be reported to you on a W-2 or a 1099-series form such as 1099-R, 1099-G, SSA-1099, or other type of 1099. The total amount that was withheld for the year will also be shown on that form, including any additional withholding that you requested. When you enter the income reporting form in TurboTax, you will enter the amount of tax withheld, and it will be included in the total tax withheld on your tax return.

whatever was collected by your employer will be shown on your W-2 Box 2.
