I forgot about a check I had gotten from an IRA that was closed. The 1099 came 2 months after I filed. I need help filling out a 1040X. I can't figure it out.

Unfortunately, TurboTax on-line does not allow you to review the amended return until it is printed.  TurboTax Desktop does in the Forms section of the program.

I have attached a copy of the Form 1040X to give you a visual if you haven't yet printed the form. 

It is suggested that you prepare a paper return if you can, to determine if the end result matches the Form 1040X figure shown in TurboTax.  If it does not, then you may want to revisit your entries. You will need to refer to the  Form 1040 Instructions booklet to enter the amount on Line 6 of the Form 1040X.  The tax tables begin on page 67.
