I don't know which box to check when it asks for my source of income

When preparing your New York State income tax return, it will ask various questions regarding the source of your New York Income to determine if any of it was earned in New York City, as additional taxes may be involved. If it was not earned in New York City, you should answer "No" to all of those questions. The TurboTax program will properly determine that you do not have any New York City-sourced income if your do not.
