I cannot figure out how to add traditional IRA contributions. I keep reading to go to deductions and credits but I cannot see the option for it there.

Trying to get rid of tax obligation, and the wife and I make less than the limit to not contribute because she already has a retirement plan.

Te enter a Roth or Traditional IRA deduction

• Click My Account (Top right of your screen).

• Select Tools.

• In the pop up window, select Topic Search.

• In the search bar, type in ira contributions

• Highlight it and select GO, and follow the prompts

When you enter a contribution into TurboTax, the program will let you know if and how much of the contribution is deductible- you can then view the result on the refund meter.
