I can not find the financial institution to enter my 1099

Not all financial instructions are available for import, but you can import a pdf or type the information in manually. 

You don't mention which type of 1099 you have, but here are the directions for manually entering interest, a very common 1099.  The process is similar for whichever 1099 you have.

• Open TurboTax Online and navigate to Wages & Income > Investments and Savings (1099-B, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-K, Crypto) > Add/Edit
• Under "Let's import", choose "Enter a different way." 
• Choose Interest, continue
• Choose "Type it in myself"
• Enter FEIN from payer, payer's name, and amount of interest. Choose recipient's name from dropdown box.
