I am not sure where you are finding that you can't enter a Form 1099-R for your wife.

The attached sample screenshot shows where you can identify the 1099-R as belonging to your wife. It will appear after you choose "Add another Form 1099-R"

Form 4562 Depreciation and Amortization states large values? Do I need this? If yes, what should I enter? If not, how to delete?
