Husband gets Social Security retirement. He got a death benefit on behalf of dad, got second SSA-1099. How do I enter info?

My husband got a SSA-1099 for his own social security retirement. He also got a $375.00 death benefit from his father. He got an additional SSA-1099 for that payment. Do I add the two together to enter in Turbo Tax program. I can't find how to enter a second SSA-1099.

If his Social Security number is in box 2 of each SSA-1099 then you need to add the amounts in box 5 from each form together and enter the total on your tax return.

To enter Social Security benefits reported on form SSA-1099

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
On Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099), click the start or update button

Or enter ssa-1099 in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to ssa-1099
