If I meet all qualifications for Retirement Savings Contrib Credit, why does TurboTax say 'you don't qualify for the credit?' I did not contribute via W2. Is there a fix?

Perhaps you have no income tax liability against which to apply the credit.  This credit is a nonrefundable credit, so it cannot be used to reduce your income tax liability below zero and it cannot be used to reduce Other taxes reported on Schedule 4.

Thank you for the response. I do have to pay income taxes, however.

If that's not the reason, it seems that the entries you've made in TurboTax indicate that you don't actually qualify.  See IRS Pub 590-A for the qualification requirements:  <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://www.irs.gov/publications/p590a#en_US_2018_publink1000231191">https://www.irs.gov/publication...>
