Go back to the My Info section of the program and edit your personal information. Change your Occupation to Student. This will remove the credit from your tax return.

My wife is retired and not employed. She received 800$ jury duty, and then contributed the 800$ to Roth IRA. turbo tax message is she has earned income of 0?
