How to file 1099-NEC for state

I efiled 1099-NEC forms with IRS using the Quick Employer Forms, but there was no option to file with my state at the same time. the state requires us to file with the combined federal/state filing program. that option was not available when I filed. How do I know whether or not the form has been filed with the state? If not, is there a way to just file the state 1099-NEC through QEF?
