How do I enter retirement amount for 2016

Retirement income is reported to you on a 1099-R or RRB-1099.  To enter you 1099-R in TurboTax, go to Federal Taxes, then Wages and Income.  Look for the section titled 'Retirement Plans and Social Security'.  Here, you can enter the following:

• 1099-R, IRAs, 401(k), early withdrawals
• IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R)
• Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099)
• Canadian Registered Pension Income
