Delete what?   A IRA contribution or a 1099-R form?

I tried that but I was still left with the IRA section and a negative amount contributed. I had marked that I would remove Over contributed amounts from my Roth IRA but after further research I realized I don’t have a Roth IRA I have a Roth 401k so I need to adjust that second to remove the Roth IRA portion completely.

Are you saying that yiu entered a Roth contribution in the IRA contributions section?    Just return to that section and uncheck any boxes that have a checkmark and press [Continue] to delete the contribution.

Enter IRA contributions here:
Federal Taxes,
Deductions & Credits,
I’ll choose what I work on (if that screen comes up),
Retirement & Investments,
Traditional & Roth IRA contribution.

OR  Use the "Tools" menu  (if online version under My Account) and then "Search Topics" for "ira contributions" which will take you to the same place.
