I have code "g" in box 7 of my 1099-r. Code "g" indicates that my 401-k funds were rolled over to another qualified plan (In my case, a government pension plan). I am ok as long as that information is on my tax form. Is that correct?
Just enter the 1099-R and say NO to the two Roth questions. That will put the box 1 amount on the 1040 form line 5a with ROLLOVER next to it.
