HOW DO I CORRECT AN ERROR ON THE SIMPLIFIED METHOD WORKSHEET? IF THE TAXABLE AMOUNT ON MY 1099R IS UNDETERMINED, DO I ENTER 0 OR LEAVE IT BLANK?

If the taxable amount on your 1099-R is undetermined, you should leave it blank. Make sure that you double check your 1099-R box 2b entry to see if that box is checked on your 1099-R.

If the taxable amount on your 1099-R is undetermined, you should leave it blank. Make sure that you double check your 1099-R box 2b entry to see if that box is checked on your 1099-R.
