How do I change my social security number?

I accidentally messed up my SS and it won’t let me change it

You enter your Social Security number in My Info.  If you entered it incorrectly, click your name in My Info and fix it before you try to file your return.

That’s the thing, it won’t let me change it anymore. I chose the option of mailing so it won’t let me change it. Do I have to wait for it to be rejected?

If you haven't yet mailed your return, you can revisit and change to e-file.  This will allow you to revisit your Personal Info section to change your social security number.  Refer to the following Help Article for instructions to switch from print and mail to e-file:  How do I change from mail to e-file in TurboTax Online?
