When I get to the section for entering 1099-R and /or RMD payments manually, the program does not allow and a line says an update is do by 1/2/2020 (?). When I search for an update, all I get is a time out error. How do I get the update so I can complete the form and file?

If you are using TurboTax online, please try using a different internet browser and/or clear your cache and cookies in the internet browser you are using.

Sometimes just using a different browser solves the issue.

If you are using the PC desktop version of TurboTax go to Online in top menu and pick Check for Updates.
