Filing a Final C-Corp Return
My C-Corp was recently dissolved and closed. I filed a 2021 tax return (1120), but at the time did not mark that return as a final return. As it turns out there was no activity or income to report in 2022. Should I amend the 2021 return to reflect that it was a final return or file a return for 2022 as the final return? I understand that I need to file IRS form 966 in either case and I assume TurboTax Business can accommodate the IRS Form 966.
Thank you.

Yes, TurboTax Business supports Form 966.
You might want to consider filing an amended return and marking it the final return since a 2022 1120 would be late at this point.

Filing a Final C-Corp Return
Just to confirm, I can use the 2021 TurboTax app that was used to file the 2021 return to file the amended return along with the addition of form 966?
Thanks again for your response.
