Dual taxation

I am a dual citizen - US and Canadian. I retired from my job in the US and moved back to Canada. I am collecting SS, pension and IRA from the US as well as CPP and a pension in Canada. How do I avoid double taxation?

Dual taxation

So you have moved back to Canada, but you are getting U.S. Source Income.  You should file your Canadian Taxes first and then on your Form 1040 you're required to report your world-wide income.  If you have paid tax to any other country on the same income, you get Foreign Tax Credit to prevent the double taxation.
