Does the hazlewood benefit count towards scholarship portion of my taxes?

Unless the Hazelwood benefit is listed on your 1098-T as a Scholarship or Grant (Box 5), or you received a separate reimbursement payment, you don't need to report this benefit. If it is on the Form 1098-T, just enter the Form 1098-T to report the benefit.
