I am retired and do not have a w2, yet turbo tax is asking for a county of my employer. I never enter any w2 information, turbo tax says that if I do not make an entry that my return will be delayed. Any suffestions?

Please clarify the question.
If you have to delete an individual entry from your return you can go back to the input screen.
On the right-hand side, there is a trash can. Select the trash can and confirm you want to delete that entry.
To Search and delete a form that is on your return
To Delete a form:
On the menu bar on the left that shows.
My Info
Federal
State
Review
File
Select Tax Tools
On the drop-down select Tools
On the Pop-Up menu select Delete a Form
This will give you all of the forms in your return
Scroll down to the form you want to delete (W-2)
Select the Form
Click on Delete.
Always use extreme caution when deleting from your tax return. There could be unintended consequences.
Thank you for your reply,
I see this error when in the state review. It shows an error and asks "Taxpayer County should be entered".
Also, I do not have an entry to delete. I selected that I do not have a W2 and then entered my 1099-r.
And I do not have any forms to delete. I have been retired for a few years and have never used a W2 in turbo tax. I do not see Tax tools anywhere in my menu bar.

It's not asking for the county of your employer, it's asking where you live. Some states require this.
Aren't you given a button to click on to take you directly to the error so you can enter your county?
Or, click the tab for state taxes and run your state tax interview from the top. One of the first things it should ask is any state-specific questions about your residency (such as which county, confirm if you moved into or out of the state or lived in the state all year, etc.)
If you think the state module is broken and does not have a place to enter the county, you need to tell us the state, or call customer support and the representative can do a screen share with you and show you where to enter the state.
Thank you for all your help.
