What form are you trying to enter? Where?
I'm entering from 1099-DIV to the Turbo screen about sales of stock related things. The section is called "Sales Info"
It says to select what type of investment in the drop down box. I clicked "Learn more" and it gives a lot of info including a list of 14 kinds of investments that Turbo covers in that section. The one I need to choose is in the list, but it isn't in the drop down box. There are only 4 things in it so I can't enter what I need to.
You either have the wrong kind of form or you are in the wrong screen. Sales are on a 1099B not a 1099Div. Dividends go under Dividends. Did you get a 1099 Consolidated Summary from from your broker? That will have sections for 1099-Int and 1099-Div and 1099B. You need to enter each section in the right place. So read it carefully and look for headings…1099-Int for interest or 1099-Div for Dividends and 1099B for sales.
