Can a retired person under age 59 1/2 use health insurance premiums and out of pocket medical expense to reduce early IRA withdrawal penalty? Could not use on SchA.

If you have unreimbursed medical expenses that are greater than a certain amount of your adjusted gross income, you may qualify for an exception to the early withdrawal penalty. 

When you input the IRA into TurboTax, the interview questions will guide you to provide this information.
