ITINs are unique like social security numbers are.
BUT...if you are entering an SSA-1099?....and the TTX form you are putting it into is asking for a TIN???
THEN you are entering that SSA-1099 into the wrong software form ! Get out of that form and delete it.
Then find the proper SSA-1099 area in the Retirement income section and enter it there..
Where do I enter an SSA-1099, SSA-1099-SM, or SSA-1099-R-OP1? (intuit.com)
