How to answer RMD question? Father died before IRA RMD; I took beneficiary RMD & have 1099. What should I check on his return for IRA RMD?

Financial institution said to answer "Was not required to take RMD." But TT auto changes to "received all RMD."  What should I check?

Answer you received all RMD on father's return. This is correct as long as you took the RMD and it is reported on your return.
