Age 69 started part-time job. About $9000. per year. I have one allowance on W4. The first check gross is $202. They took NO Federal out. Is that right? More below.
They did take out Fed MED/EE -- and Fed OASDI/EE -- just not Federal Withholding. I am age 69 and also receiving Social Security. I did my W4 as single with one allowance. I receive $16,000 Social Security per year.

That is correct. At that income level you will owe no taxes (and not required to file) so nothing is withheld (so you have no reason to file ). Life is good, enjoy.

For single and 1 withholding allowance there should be no federal withholding on $202 if you are paid bi-weekly. If you are paid weekly, federal withholding on $202 should have been about $8. See IRS Pub 15-A: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p15a.pdf
