1099R Retirement distribution

Turbo Tax asks "In what state were you living when your received 1099R?"  Should I answer the state where we lived when the distribution was actually made, or where we lived when the tax form was received?    It also asks if the RMD reported was the total amount required.  Because this was an IRA inherited upon my mothers death, split between myself and sisters, we are each reporting 1/4 of the RMD.  Between the four of us, we will have reported the total RMD required, so our answer is "yes," correct?

1099R Retirement distribution

You will want to report the state you were a resident of when you received the money.  You are correct that you will answer Yes if the total of al the distribution equaled the RMD.  Sorry for your loss.
