1040 married filing jointly Thrift Savings Plan

I am retired and receive a 1099-R for my pension and a 1099-R for withdrawals form my Thrift Savings Plan which is not an IRA but similar to a 401K.  Does this go on the same line (5a) as pensions and annuities?

Yes, distributions from a Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) page 27, would be entered on line 5a. A TSP is the equivalent of a 401(k) for federal workers.
