Turbotax provided wrong acct # for stimulus

So, i checked the irs website and it says my stimulus would be deposited today, but the bank account they have listed is wrong.  The one they have has the last 4 numbers or my social security number, and i sure didnt get the deposit.  Whats the deal?  Also, my friend with tt card still had to go give irs his info.

Anyways, why did tt provide irs with the wrong number?

I had the same problem . This is ridiculous. How are your supposed to change that info to be able to get the money ?

Seems this is only a turbo tax customer

You may want to check with the Turbo card site if that's what you used while filing your taxes.

What about the clients that didn't get a debit card and just used a regular bank account what happened to them

If you filed a 2018 or 2019 federal tax return with a federal tax refund and selected Direct Deposit into your bank account for the federal tax refund, then the IRS has your Direct Deposit information for the stimulus payment.
