Turbotax provided wrong acct # for stimulus

So, i checked the irs website and it says my stimulus would be deposited today, but the bank account they have listed is wrong.  The one they have has the last 4 numbers or my social security number, and i sure didnt get the deposit.  Whats the deal?  Also, my friend with tt card still had to go give irs his info.

Anyways, why did tt provide irs with the wrong number?

You may want to check with the Turbo card site if that's what you used while filing your taxes.

Hang in there because we got an update: TurboTax Online is up and running smoothly. The app/site/phone line for the Turbo Visa Debit Card issued by Green Dot is experiencing high volumes today due to stimulus payments being funded, but filing online with TurboTax is uninterrupted. If you are experiencing any issues with the Turbo Card app/site/phone line, please wait a bit and try again.

If you filed a 2018 or 2019 federal tax return with a federal tax refund and selected Direct Deposit into your bank account for the federal tax refund, then the IRS has your Direct Deposit information for the stimulus payment.
