IRS Updated my Deposit date for the 3rd stimulus

So Originally my deposit date was for the 17th of march. but because my bank is closed it was probably rejected. If anyone updated their Turbo tax bank details using the portal. this should have been forwarded to the IRS.

My new Date is now the 26th this coming Friday.

Now my question is surely it will go to the updated bank details. it still shows my old banking number the last 4 digits etc. but I heard this is just procesdure since its the banking details that I had on my tax return.

Has anyone had a change to their date?

Are you checking Where’s My Refund? or Get My Payment? Get My Payment will have the latest details on your third stimulus payment.

The IRS will use data already in its systems to send the third stimulus payments. Taxpayers with direct deposit information on file will receive the payment that way. Those without current direct deposit information on file will receive the payment as a check or debit card in the mail.

Yes I did states that I went to the IRS website. I also updated my banking information with the Turbo Tax Portal. they sent me a email saying that the IRS tried to pay me and my bank had been closed so I had to update my banking information. this was for the 2nd stimulus.

Now that im getting the 3rd my updated banking information should be on the IRS system somewhere surley? they already tried to deposit on the 17th and now its updated to the 26th. so my guess is they tried and it rejected and hopefully it will be re deposited to the updated banking information
