The federal return was filed successfully, but I keep encountering an error when trying to file the Minnesota state return electronically:
/ReturnState/ReturnDataState/SchCRP/SchCRPHeader/ManagingAgentNameGrp/PhoneNum - To file electronically, please double-check the Certificate of Rent Paid and make sure you have entered the Managing agent's First and Last Name at the bottom of the Property Owner Smart Worksheet.
I entered all the information from the Certificate of Rent Paid (CRP) correctly. Two days ago, I tried to file about five times. Each time, TurboTax rejected the return almost instantly, and the error notification arrived in my email a few minutes later.
I requested a new CRP from the property owner, entered the updated information, and this time the return went through without an immediate error. I thought everything was fine. However, today we filed my girlfriend's return, and at exactly 11 AM, both state returns (hers and mine, submitted two days ago) were rejected simultaneously with the same error. Her federal return was accepted without any issues.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem? I suspect this might be a bug in TurboTax software.
