I exercised stock options and made money on the transaction. Where do I enter that income? Federal and state taxes were withheld from the proceeds.

When you exercise stock options, it is considered to be a sale of securities, which is entered in investment income.

To get to the input screens:

• Sign in to your account and click on the orange Take me to my return button (skip this step if you are already in your return)
• Click on Search at the top of the screen
• Input "investment sales" in the search box and hit enter
• The first link available should be Jump to investment sales - click on this link
