When entering expenses against 1099 income, it is forcing me to self employed even thought I don't have $800 in expenses. How do I get around this and stay with Deluxe?

If you want to deduct expenses against your 1099 income, then you will need to upgrade to the Self-Employed product - it is the only TurboTax product that has this functionality.

Is this new for 2016? I don't remember upgrading in 2015 for the same functionality. Thanks.
