What is the most conservative date to enter for Acquisition Date of a stock that was disposed of reported on Form 1099-B? Date Acquired is listed as "Unknown"
It was originally acquired as a spin-off transaction. The gain is only $11, so I don't really care what date is used. I just used 0 for Cost Basis.
