Did you receive a 1099-DIV with an amount in Box 5? Did you receive a QBI deduction on Line 10 of Form 1040?

it's a nonqualified dividend from a REIT. Real Estate Investment Trust shown on line 5 of 1099-DIV. the amount is also included on line 1 of the 1099-div. there is no requirement to report line 5 if the fee is more than the tax savings.
