Turbo is asking me for a 9 digit investment account number but my investment account number only has 8 digits. how do i proceed?

It sounds like TurboTax is asking for an EIN for your investment account. The software is not looking for your account number. The EIN will be formatted like this: XX-XXXXXXX.
