Schedule K-1 Form 1065 No Income or Loss

I'm a beginner investor and dabbled with various ProShares ETF's in Spring 2020 - namely ProShares Short Term VIX Futures and ProShares Bloomberg Crude Oil.  I bought and sold shares within the same week (Bloomberg Crude Oil on the same day).

I received Schedule K-1 Form 1065's for each, however I have 0's for every line item on the Schedule K-1 form except for the capital contributed and withdrawals & distributions (Part II, block L).  The withdrawals and distributions were the same number (I had no income or losses).

Since I did not receive any income and did not experience any losses on the schedule K-1 form, does this need to be reported?  And if so, where do I report?

Thank you!

If there's nothing in Part III and you haven't sold then you have nothing to report.

Schedule K-1 Form 1065 No Income or Loss

Okay thanks! I did sell the shares already (and have a gain loss in accordance with the difference in share price - which are reported on my form 1099), however as stated I have all zeros on the schedule K-1.

Reporting of the gain/loss on the 1099 should take care of any gains/losses I have for these securities, since there is no gain/loss per the schedule K-1, correct?

For these shares you should go by your 1099 for your gain/loss
