Rental Property Expenses Software Issue

I believe there is a glitch in Turbo Tax's software and I'm not getting any assistance from their Tech Support. I'm trying to input my "Expenses / Assets (Depreciation)" under my "Rental Property Info". It's shows the previous years information displayed properly. When I input "Insurance Premiums" and hit continue, input "Cleaning/Maintenance" and hit continue, and input "Repairs" and hit continue, it displays properly showing the correct dollar amount under the 2024 column. As soon as I input "Real Estate Taxes" and hit continue, all the dollar amounts for 2024 show "$0.00" and "Not Started" appears in each of those categories. I've talked with support 3 times trying to fix it, even going as far as deleting my entire return and the issue persists. I've switched browsers, cleared caches, even tried the app and no change. I believe there is an issue with their software and I'm not making any progress.

Rental Property Expenses Software Issue

I could not replicate the error you are experiencing and have not seen any other complaints of this nature.

I am assuming you are using TurboTax Online.

It sounds like you have done the basic steps to clear cashes and cookies. If you uploaded a 1098 reporting interest and property tax, I suggest you delete that form, enter the interest and taxes paid (as well as other rental expenses) first, then manually type in Form 1098.

As a last resort, you could list the property tax on the "Any Miscellaneous Expenses?" screen and type Property Taxes as the description.
